[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Kimber Ten II

My local dealer/gunsmith has one for $650, what do you guys think of these and the price? I like double stack .45s so thats not an issue to me. I tried this question in the 1911 forum and didn't get much response so I thought I'd try here. Thanks.

I thought they discontinued that model.

ETA: Just checked their site and it's still a current model. I don't know why I thought it was discontinued....

Have a Striker Ten ll and Love it, never had any problems out of it. It is a shorty 3 inch carry rig.

I bought one a month ago, love it, they really shoot great. Put Novak adj night sights on it and carry it daily. I just wish Blackhawk would make a Serpa holster to fit it.

I bought my BP 10 II in Jan. from Bud's gun shop .com $500.00 NIB its the standard fixed site model. I'm very happy with it, but mag.s are a little pricey and not too easy to come buy. "They" say that Para. mags will work but I tried one in my gun at a gun show and it was very tight. If I showed it in hard it was very hard to get back out.

Also the Bul M5, Charles Daly M5, and Wilson KZ45 are all the same guns. The Bul and CD don't have a barrel bushing and I wanted to shoot mine in IDPA (they require 1911s to have a bushing). So the Kimber was the one I wanted.
