| Can anyone tell me about this pistol? Do they still make it? Is it reliable? Any hands on experience with it? |
I know it's a re issue of old design with some new updates . I haven't shot the new one yet , but I did get to handle one last week . Basically it's just a heavily smoothed and melted alloy framed 3" pistol . With a trough type sighting system . If your looking for a small and light 1911 style pistol for arms length defense it would be a good choice , but if you had to use it outside of 5 yards . You would need to be proficient at point shooting

| Very good customer of ours bought the first one we got in. He likes it a lot. Unlike many other 3" 1911's from about any manufacturer (including other Kimbers), his has been very reliable right out of the box. I think I would have preffered a standard style heavier hammer over the chopped one, but it would seem thats just cosmetic prefferences. |
