I have a Kimber Eclipse Target II which reminds me of an Italian sports car -- it runs great when it runs, but it doesn't run reliably.

The main problem I have with it is the adjustable rear sight.  The allen screw on the rear sight comes lose after ever couple of magazines and it develops a wandering zero - both vertical and horizontal.

Can you put loc-tite on a screw that small?  I'm guessing it is only 1.5 mm in diameter.  If so, which kind of loc-tite?

Had the exact same problem on my Gold Match.

I pulled the screw, squeezed it with a pair of needle-nosed pliers (not mashing the shit out of it, just enough to booger up the threads slightly...)  when I screwed it back it in, it was nice and tight.

This worked for the last 3 years, but I just recently replaced the whole rear sight with a drop-in Heinie fixed rear.
