Yesterday I shot my Ultra Carry II for the first time since swapping the sights for a set of Kimber night sights.

Them puppies (sights) rock.

I'm not the best shot on the block but with the new sights I'm now shooting a whole lot better.

Groups are much tighter now.

Wow, I never really gave much thought to the sights on my handguns.

My Kimber never ceases to amaze me. Up to around 2000 rounds now, I did have a failure to feed yesterday while firing around 400 rounds with it but I was using a magazine that has been known to cause problems in my SA Mil-Spec and in my Colt also.

Kimber Rocks.

Bill,
did you do any comparison shopping before your night sight purchase. I am about to do the same thing, but was debating kimber sights or novaks. Any thoughts??
Congrats on the new shot groups. Danny

I just had the dealer that I bought my Kimber from do the order and they went with the Kimber brand sights.

As with anything, careful shopping will always give the best results. But going with the Kimber brand turned out to give me replacement sights with an identical profile, they do not look any different other then the glow in the dark dots.

POI has not changed at all, only difference is easier to see and use sights.

Did you send it back to Kimber to get those sights installed or did you find someone else to do it?  I've been meaning to get a set since I've decided to start carrying it, but just havent gotten around to sending the slide off.  Thanks!
