| So far the only comments on the poly frame Kimbers are that they kick a good amount. That seems pretty obvious, but I am more interested in the quality, accuracy, and reliability. I am sure they are superbly made like all Kimbers but compared to an alloy or steel frame how do they hold up? |

I too own a BP Ten II and shot it for the first time two weekends ago. About 500 Rounds that day. Exactly one fail to feed. Slide locked open on a partially empty mag. I've chalked it up to 6 months of carry lint without ever being fired. - Nw - |

I've got a stainless 10 II with the poly grip. I bought it used and was getting doubles. It got sent back to Kimber for a freeby trigger job and was returned within 4 days. It is absolutely perfect now. 500 rounds and no failures. It came with 1 OEM and 2 ParaOrd mags. The ParaOrds were a problem so I traded them (plus cash) for 2 more OEMs. It was just used by a brand new shooter...100lbs of 20 year old redhead soaking wet, and she loved it. Recoil was not a problem and I had to wrestle the gun away from her to get to shoot it. It shoots like a laser...but sometimes the black sights get lost on the target to these old eyes. |
