I've got a 5" Custom Target II and I want to get a .22 conversion kit. The previous owner changed the mainspring and housing. The arched housing fits my hand better than the flat, so I never really questioned it, but the mainspring has always felt a little heavy. I was wonering what the original mainspring weight is supposed to be and if running something heavier would impact reliability of the .22 conversion - I imagine it would.
