Would i be able to cerakote the barrel, or are the tolerances between the bushing and barrel too tight? Tired of having to keep the barrel drenched in oil to keep it from rusting.

I don't think there is clearence for any type of built up finish, would probably be scraped off. Aren't Kimber barrels all stainless? Mine look like stainless, without looking into the specs.

Most Kimber barrels are in the white carbon steel. Cerakote should be ok.

It can be done no problem. Found a few people that have done it with no issues. Whenever i'm back in the states i'll do it.
