I was wondering if anybody else had this problem.  When I shoot my .44 about fifteen times, the safety screw becomes very loose to the point of eventually inadvertently dropping and stopping the gun from firing.  This is obviously very annoying.  I usually just screw it back in with an empty shell casing laying around.  What can I do about it other than take it to some gunsmith and tell him to "fix it"?  Any ideas are appreciated.

Seems to be a common problem. A little dab of Loctite (222MS) will do the trick, clean the screws first and tighten them until the safety feels right - too tight and it almost locks up.

This is what MRI would do if you sent it to them.
