I have been on here a few times posting about my Baby Eagle. My steel 9mm ran great the first 2,000 or so rounds then I have had some stove pipes and the sear broke (went full auto).
Magnum Research fixed the sear spring and put in a new extractor spring, it still fails to extract, about once every 60/80 rounds (way too much for me)

For those of you with BE 9mm how many have issues especially extraction problems?

Has anyone tried putting a EAA or CZ extractor on theirs? Or re-sprung there entire gun with CZ or EAA springs?

I'm sorry about your issues, but I haven't had any such problems with my Baby Eagles.  I have Four of them and only my compact forty has given me any problems and that was just a matter of finding ammo it liked.  I think your issues may be beyond the WESCOG info here.  Try www.czforum.com in the CZ clone club there are alot more people there with more specialized experience.

Yeah i have already looked into the CZ forums I know AR15.com is not the best place for specialized pistol problems I figured I would post in alot of forums to see how many different views or how many peolpe might have had the same issue. When the Springfield XD hit the U.S. a few years back the 9mm version set a trend with chamber tolerance issues (they have been fixed now) I am trying to collect data to see if this is a common issue with Baby Eagles

I'll post here when I get mine back from MRI warranty service with their prognosis, if any. Like I posted before, I got a failure about every magazine. It was most often a feedway stoppage where the pistol failed to extract completely and the claw rode over the rim, allowing the next round to run up under the partially exposed case.

The next most frequent malfunction was for the last round to not be ejected. The pistol would be in slide lock with a case laying on top of the follower.

It was not for lack of cleaning, or shooting technique, that these issues occurred.

I have gotten my pistol running, I had put in wolf extra power mag springs, once I went back to normal power my pistol has run. Seems the extra power mag spring put too much pressure on the round trying to chamber against the shell trying to extract. I asked Magnum Research about the last fired round always ejecting only about a ft away or just extracting and sitting on the mag follower. (MR) stated that is normal for Baby Eagles on the last round.

That's good to hear! Now why would the next round be contacting the extracting case though? One would think the feed lips would have to be distorted for that to happen.

I wonder why they don't eject the last round that well? Sitting on the follower isn't really a good thing to be 'normal.'

Regarding putting different springs, extractors, etc., in the pistol, I have not done that yet as I do not want to void my warranty while it is still active.

ETA: Heard from MRI today, and they replaced the barrel and extractor on my pistol. Now we'll have to see how it runs...
