I wish someone had or made the recoil springs for the Compact USP's....

Yes I have read the posts over on the HK Pro forum that it's supposed to the best thing to replace the whole unit, but after looking at both the recoil units in my 45 and 40 compacts, the other parts look fine.

I just like having extra springs in the parts box.

That cost of the whole unit is high...

Wolff Gun Springs sells just the spring or you can buy them direct from HK or HKPARTS.net.  HK recommends replacing at 10,000 rounds as PM but they can go much longer than that.  Personally my carry .45 USPC has 12K on it and it is still doing fine.  How do I know, because it's twin has only about 1K on it and they both recoil and feel the same.  When the spring starts going soft felt recoil will increase and the buffer will take more of a beating, then you must replace the spring.  Until that happens though I am not changing anything.

What spring is it on Wolff's site? They don't show one labeled for USP 45C,

I sent 2 emails to HKparts.net and I have yet to hear back from them.

Is there a link to it on the HKparts site? I looked and cannot find it.

Thanks for the help.
