| Can any of you tell me what thread pattern the H&K USP Tactical 9x19 comes in? If it's odd ball do any of you know where I could get an adaptor? |

Mark McWillis of TROS either has them or can make you one. You would be better off getting whatever device you are interested in with the correct threading though.
Mark also makes outstanding thread protectors if you are interested. |

Quoted: Considering I have a 9 SBR in 1/2x28 I'd like to keep that thread, that way the pistol and sbr are easily interchangeable, I know it's weird just like fast on and off. Stick with M13.5x1LH. It's not going to be a straight swap anyway. Assuming you are using a boostered suppressor you would have to install a fixed barrel spacer before you use it on your SBR. |

I've been using my evo 9 with the spring in it for months with no issues. I'm not AAC, but I'm pretty sure they would recommend that you put the fixed barrel spacer in there when using the suppressor on a fixed barrel. Your can came with a fixed barrel spacer, you should use it. The issue is that every time you shoot it with a spring on a fixed barrel, you are causing excessive wear. The gun Fires, the can springs forward and then springs back. The constant pounding will damage your piston or your barrel threading. Kind of like jack hammering ... |

So, one question, would a beretta M9 or 92 function safely with the spacer installed? This is from Silencer Research One of the best features of the Beretta as a suppressed pistol is that the factory barrel can be threaded, thus saving the extra expense of buying a threaded aftermarket barrel. Aftermarket barrels are expensive and don't always work flawlessly like the factory barrel does. The factory barrel comes with standard rifling. Some people report being able to use the Beretta 92FS without the need to "boost the can." I can make mine work with a reduced weight recoil spring (10lb Wolff) with both the Gemtech Trinity, however the SWR Trident 9 will not function at all without the recoil enhancer installed. I also noted no significant difference in sound pressure levels with the screw in (non-boosted) mounts as opposed to the boosted versions. He tested it with the EVO, trinty and trident. The EVO and trinty will work booster-less only after he changed the recoil spring to a lighter 10lb spring. |
