| I recently started doing 3 gun matches. I have been using a XDM 9mm. I really like the feel of my USP Compact better. I feel that the shape of the grip suits my small hands better. The only problem is the mine is a .40 cal. I need high capacity. I am thinking of the Combat Competition in 9mm. I was wondering if any of you guys have both and is there a difference in the trigger reach and grip thickness. I'd go to the store and hold one but nobody seems to have them is stock. I'm probably going to have to buy over the internet. Thanks. |

You should be able to find one of those fairly easy. |
| I was at the Shot Show a few years ago and met the guy that designed the Combat Competition trigger. It is a full size USP frame with jet funnel mags. The trigger is basically a Light LEM trigger. Meaning it feels like a 3.5 lb trigger for a HK weapon. It is awesome. Last I saw were the CA DOJ over run guns with these triggers for sale in Las Vegas for $720.00 each and 3 mags. I should have picked up one then...now I cant find them anywhere. So go ahead and pick one up because you will LOVE it! I have a regular LEM trigger in a P2000SK. It is already light and the Combat Competition trigger feels a step better than that. With any HK trigger they will feel even better once you break them in with 1000 to 2000 rounds. I dont think they were available in a USP Compact- only LEM triggers for those. Unless they changed. Hope that helps. |
