So I've come across a little over a grand and I've trying to decide whether I want a suppressor for my USP Tactical or wait for next year and get a centennial edition 1911. Some other things to keep in consideration though: (1) currently as a resident of WA state I can only possess the suppressor, mount it, but not use it, however I will be moving in 2 years, (2) the only handgun I have is my USP Tactical and everyone keeps talking about 1911s, and finally (3) do I really need a reason to buy more guns?

Anyone got any thoughts, inputs, or things I may have overlooked in analyzing my choices?

I'm a 1911 guy, and I say go for the suppressor.  You already have a quality pistol.  You can buy a second quality pistol that does basically the same thing or get the can which lets you do something you couldn't before.

Buy the suppressor.  The paperwork might get approved by the time your get ready to move.

Then buy other guns as hosts.
