| Not to rain on your parade but you've just voided the warranty on your HK. I was looking at having Robar NP3 my P30 just as they did my G26. I call HK and am told that it would void my warranty if I did. I questioned the reasoning to no avail. Nice looking P2000 though. |

Well, I don't mean to pee in your Cheerios, but if you aren't the original owner of the pistol, then HK doesn't owe you any Warranty whatsoever. It clearly states that the warranty applies to the original owner. I'm the second owner of this P2K. If you ask MOST gun companies if a refinish voids the warranty, they will likely tell you that it does b/c that gives them an "out" when servicing your pistol. In actual practice, I have never had any warranty issues from any firearm that has been refinished, so long as it was professionally done and was not determned to be the cause of the problem. I would say that the HK CS person you spoke to probably just gave you the textbook answer, which isn't necessarily a bad idea. |

Every, and I mean every time I call H&K with a questions about something, they tell me the same thing about voiding the warranty. I love H&K stuff, but their customer service people are like robots. |

Looks good. Most of my pistols are stainless/plated, being I hate most black finishes. The only one I'm leaving mostly black is my next range gun; 9mm PX4. That is only because I also shoot a plated .45 PX4, and I want to keep the two distinguished from each other.

That is kind of s***y, if you ask me... I know a few companies will warranty broken parts that are plated correctly (and the issue isn't caused by the plating), but will not replate whatever parts are replaced. |

Quoted: SUPER sexy piece buddy! I would love to have red colorfill on my new black SK model on the "p2000 sk" and "HK" rollmarks. eta..Awesome Knife, my all time favorite! What a perfect compliment to your sidearm For some reason, I don't like the red lettering that I've seen on the HK pistols. IT looks too bright and out of place to me. Even the white lettering looks better in my opinion. Maybe it's just people using the wrong shade of red, I don't know. I love the MT OTFs. Specifically, the Daytona/UTX85 size is just perfect for my uses (and with the rest of my usual EDC items). I have never seen one of these OTFs with a bone inlay. I bet they would look great! |
