Well I live in Mass and own nothing but 1911's, SA and two Caspians.

I just did a private deal for a USP45C in 95% condition for $750.  Im thinking thats not too bad of a price for a great gun that is banned in this state.

Now all I need is a holster!!   VM2

If it's banned, how can you own it? Can it be owned but not carried by stores? Anyway, post pics when you get it. Congrats!

Banned, as in not allowed to be imported to the state.  If is prviously, legally brought in then you can get it.  The problem is when you find one the owner knows this and they are trying to get 1200 for the same gun.

I could get one through LE but wanted one that was legal to sell and purchase private.

I will be getting it on Fri or Sat. just have to wait till the first as the owner is maxed out on his private transfers for 09.

stupid laws. wonder why they'd ban that gun. it's an 8+1 .45, is the 1911 banned there too? anyway, good luck with it.

The only 1911's one can get are the SW, Para and RIA.  No custom guns or Springfields or Wilson or anything worth paying for.  My Mil spec is the NM with a Kart GS fit barrel that I have had for several years.  I hope they change the laws as I would like to get a Pro some day.

I think the HK will be a great gun.  I had a .40C some time ago but sold it for bill money.
