Hi guys!
This past summer I sent my DA/SA HK45C to Bill Springfield for a trigger job. He reduced the DA trigger pull perfectly however the SA trigger pull is now a little too light for my preferences. Essentially I am not use to such a light SA trigger pull and cannot shoot it accurately. I replaced the hammer spring in an effort to restore the trigger pull but all it did was add more weight to the DA trigger pull with little or no change in the SA trigger pull. Does anyone know how he reduces the SA trigger pull? He just removed a couple of coils from the hammer spring for the DA reduction. I would like another pound or two back to the SA trigger pull. Ideally I would like to have the DA trigger pull about where he had it while also adding more to the SA trigger pull. If push comes to shove though I can live with the hard DA trigger pull more than I can live with the light SA trigger pull. If anyone could PLEASE help I'd greatly appreciate it. I love the gun and don't want to have to trade it off. |
