I have $500 saved up so far. A guy is selling his USP 40 two-tone for $500, AA(2000) date code.  Saxet Gunshow is this weekend. No luck in finding a P2000 locally in 40/357Sig V3 in the $500 range, or a USPC in 40/357 either. If he ever gets back to me before this weekend I'll pick up the two-tone.

Should I get the two-tone or wait at least another 2 months of saving up before I can get a NIB HK? I save about $60 a week.

I'm looking for:

USP 40 V1
P2000 V3 in 40 or 357
USPC V1 in 40 or 357

If you have only one, and its a USP, save up and buy something a bit different.  The USP 40 has the same outside diminsions as the USP 9 which you have. Now if you have several HK's - Buy it,  Use it and when you get bored (and save up enough) of it trade it on a new one.  You should get the $500 back on the Trade in  on a new one.

I have tried something different already, I used to have an FNP40, it was alright but I was/am shooting the USP 9 much more than I ever did with the FNP40.

I'm going to go play with some different ones today at Bass Pro Shops. I'm a Southpaw and so far HK's have been the friendliest to me in terms of ergonomics.
