The HK45/HK45c does not come from the factory with a threaded barrel and there is no word from HK on when or if there are any plans to produce a factory Tactical. Threaded barrels for both the HK45 and HK45c are available for purchase separately as shown in the SCG picture in Foxnews_FTW's post. The tan framed guns in the pics were the prototypes.
HK still makes the USP Compact Tactical––––

| I was hoping for a HK 45 Compact Tactical with a factory threaded barrel and raised night sites. It doesn't sound like that is going to available anytime soon, so I'm going to consider a HK USP Compact Tactical that is lightly used and comes with 4 mags and raised night sites. It's 1,100..at this moment in my local shop...I don't think that's too expensive since it's got extra mags and the night sites. Would rather have a new one... |

Clyde Armory has new USP CT .45's in stock (according to their site) for $1099 with 3 mags - They always seem to be on sturm or other boards advertising that their HK's are LE packages with 3 mags and night sights, but you may want to call to confirm the night sights on this model.
