I just inherited some guns from my grandfather when he died and I was left a conversion kit for an HK4 pistol, unused and new in the box. He sold the gun years ago. The kit converts the pistols to .22LR, 25 ACP, or .380 ACP. and has the mags and barrels/recoil springs with it. Does anyone know what it would be worth?

Please refer to HKPRO dot COM for info on these

-The prices will vary on the kit
-If it has the pistol and everything is complete, my guess would be around $1000
-The .22 kit alone can sell for $200
-Usually the pistol with one caliber can run upwards of $600

With all three calibers, I would venture to guess you may be looking at $500+, IMO.

Is this something that is in demand? I would rather trade someone for an Eotech 512 or similar red dot instead of selling it if it's easier.  I wasn't familiar with the HK4 pistol and don't know if many exist. I'm a USP owner but that's where my knowledge ends of HK pistols.

It would be to a collector, IMO.

*I* would run an ad in Gun Digest as they're nationwide. Somewhere there's a guy who needs this to complete his set/collection, IMO.

Good luck & please be sure to post (if you don't mind) how much it got sold for. Obviously this sort of thing isn't seen every day at the local gun shop or gun show.

I think I will post that in Gun Digest. Great Idea. Thanks.
