Anyone heard anything new on this gun? Has anyone seen it or picked one up? Just wondering.

We have one at the range where I instruct. I like the HK's anyway, but this one feels really good. The trigger is awesome. I heard there are only 1000 in the US, and we have 2!

I got one in today, it sure feels good - extremely slim grip. Comes with 4 replacement back straps so it should fit just about everyone.

Allow me to ask the obvious/ignorant: How is it different from the USP? Other than the changeable backstrap?

What's the price difference, too?

Nice looking gun! Are the mags metal or are they polymer like the USP 9/40? Is the hammer bobbed? How are the control levers; if there are any?

Although it has a trigger pull as long as other HK's in Double Action mode, the trigger in this gun is just light and extremely smooth.

There is no external safety and the hammer is bobbed.
