Thought I'd share the latest edition to the firearm family.  I got bit by the H&K P7 bug.

Just picked up this grade B P7.  Looks close to an A grade.

I spent a small fortune on 6 extra mags and a few holsters as well.

I'll probably be sending mine off for an NP3 finish from Robar.

I'm also considering sending off my slide to get tritium inserts from PT Night Sights:

Cheers.

PS: If anyone else wishes to share some nice P7 pictures...please do!

It is a sickness and there is no cure.  P7's are have there own form of BRD.

My P7M8 is my favorite gun.

I want a b grade PSP. I want to put a hard chrome finish it when I do get one.

Seek help now before its too late!

Accurate, sexy, quality throughout, unique, compact - did I forget anything?

I absolutely love mine. I think I am going to go with Melonite refinish though.

Yeah, you forgot...OVERPRICED!  Still though, they are unique, sexy shooters.

JB Metal - most (although new) 9mm pistols run between 475.00 - up to 800.00. Granted, they are high capacity, but a P7 can be had in "b grade" for under 600.00.
If made today, my guess is they would be well over 1K new.
Now the P7M8's are expensive - and the only real difference is "US" style magazine release. For double the price, P7's are a bargain.  Its all relative I guess.

I just picked up a Ruger LCP - and spend 1/2 that........

If you don't have one, get one before the supply dries up.

Even though it's cool...spending $600 on a 25 year old, used duty pistol that holds 8 rounds to me is expensive.  Yeah, it's all relative.  Anyhow, I bought one didn't I?  Not expensive enough to deter me and yeah, compared to the P7M8 it's a steal.

LCP?  Not on the approved list in KALIFORNIA.

I shot my recently acquired P7 last weekend.  Very enjoyable and VERY accurate (more accurate than I am - had 11 out of 16 shots in one long ragged hole at 7yds).  It does get hot though.  After 8 mags at a not-exactly-rapid-fire pace, even the trigger guard was getting warm!

There you are: P7M8, finished in NP3 by Robar, night sights by Tooltech.  I liked the appearence of those Nils grips, but they were just too thick and I went back to the stock ones.  That NP3 is great stuff, by the way, and took away all concern about my thin-skinned prize HK rusting in the underwater environment that is summer in Virginia:

I just bought two of the "B" grades and they are awesome! Both look like they have never been fired, not a bit of oil, grease, etc on them. I'm sending one off for hard chrome next month and night sites, the other will be my range gun. Lou Alessi is doing a CQC/S for me and Mark Garrity just finished an Incognito Deluxe which I'll have next week. Never was a big 9mm fan till I fired one of these and the prices will shoot back up again once this surplus is gone. Get then while you can! I paid just under 1k for both of mine!!
