Hi,
I just bought a used .40 H&K compact w/o a manual. Can I swap out a .357SIG barrel for this? Would I need to switch out the springs too?

Any good sources of H&K .357SIG barrels for my compact?

The only thing needed is the .357sig barrel as everything else including the mags are the same between the two guns. There is no need to change out the springs. Give HK Customer Service a call as they had factory barrels instock. If not instock you can purchase an aftermarket barrel from Jarvis.

Thanks, I found .357SIG barrels listed for $200 at Midway but they were currently out.

$250 for the HK barrels & 10 days out!

I think I will look at the aftermarket barrels.

I guess H&K does hate their customers.

Ah, the wonderful H&K customer service, still $250, but now it is 60-90 days out.
