On USP's that can be fired single action how does the trigger feel compared with a 1911 trigger?

Generally, not quite as crisp as a good 1911 set up. Unless, you invest in the Match Trigger from HK.

Nothing does or will, IMO. This is simply a statement about the 1911 design & not a knock on other trigger designs.

Well, there are two guns that come to mind: S&W Model 52 & a Sig P-210. Neither of which your local gun show will have, nor probably even know about..............

It feels like...well, not a 1911 trigger.

It sucks.

IMHO even the match triggers are not very good.  They're a bit better than the standard USP trigs but I'm not seeing where the extra $$$ for them is.  Even with the match trigs there is still a very noticable amount of slack in the pull before things start ot actuate.

I own a USPC, USPF and a USP Tactical.  I also own a Springfield 1911.

The triggers and the lack of a true universal rail are the only two things about the HK's that I do not like.

+1

h/w, i will say that imo, the USP match trigger is a great improvement over the stock USP triggers....but hardly anything to compare to a nice 1911 trigger

the single stages, the only thing that the USP has is that its pretty light; but its got creep, play, etc all in it

Although its not a great trigger and nowhere near a 1911, I will say this...

The trigger is good enough that if you can't fire the gun accurately after a reasonable amount of "new gun learning curve" time, then its the shooter...not the gun, not the trigger.

The single action pulls on both the match and standard trigger are just as good as any other DA/SA gun out there in single action, but they will never be what a dedicated single action only trigger can be.

In DA, the standard trigger sucks...but the match is very smooth...but with a USP, you shouldn't ever be using the DA pull anyways

Anyone here wanna explain why HK hasn't put 1911 FCG parts in one of their frames, and then slapped a USP style slide on it?  God what a gun that would be...
