My blackside functioned perfect on a tac 45 with about 200 rounds on it.
No spring changes or anything. It is so light you can't tell it is on there.
I highly recommend, oh ya cheap too.

First hand know how with a HEMS and HEMSII on a tactical.
You will not be displeased with SWR.
I was able to knock down bowling pins at 50 yards without a problem. The rounds hitting the pins seemed louder than the action. It is comperable in sound reduction (to the ear) to most 9mm cans.

I'm running the Blackside and have nothing but positive feedback.  It's inexpensive, yet works well (cycles every round).  It's the perfect mate to your Tactical.

Anyone have an AAC Black Box?  Does it live up to the hype?

Such a lovely shape.

Even if the AAC Black Box lives up to the hype, you can purchase 2 Blacksides for the same price.  I'm sure you will eventually get one for below MSRP, but AAC cans are expensive and the difference (claimed at this point) can't be that significant.

How quiet is the Blackside?  Does anyone have any numbers?  I have been thinking of getting one for my HK, and this looks great.

When wet it's quite for 45acp.......nothing like hollywood, but you need no ear protection at all.  When dry it's kind of loud like 22lr.

I bought the AAC Tactical .45. I regret it because the USP tactical is the only gun it works on. as far as cans go it is a great can. very quite when wet (not nearly as quite as my de'leise (SPL?) though).
