| ok ive always wanted one of these guys, and just a few days ago had my local gun store order one from century. i got charged 800 for it while i noticed that probably not to long back they were asking 600 at AIMs surplus. anyways has anyone had any experience with these from century and anything i should check out on a P9S. also is there anywhere i can get spare mags for it, that wont set me back 80bucks a pop. |

Check the buffer and IMO replace it no matter what. You can still get buffers from Marc at OPS2 for about $10 each. Even if the one in the pistol looks good, if it fails you can do damage to your pistol in nothing flat so I suggest you replace it just in case. Also, when you take out the buffer, check the buffer housing to make sure it is in good shape. P9S 9mm mags run between $60 and $100 depending on who is selling them so shop around. Even check e-Bay. Again, Marc may be able to hook you up with some. A year or two back I got some P9S .45 mags from him for $55 each, and now they run about $90 in most places.
