just wanted to share my pro mag experience with you guys. i bought three usp 12 rounders from ctd and all functioned %100. after a few range trips one of the mags would not hold the slide back. there was a burr on the follower. ctd promptly replaced it with a new one and paid for return shipping. well all three have had several hundred rounds through them and have been flawless. they will not drop free if that is an issue. the finish is holding up better than the hk factory mag as well. just wanted to share/ |
![]() Sorry, couldn't resist. ![]() Seriously, anything H&K related isn't gonna come cheap. The aftermarket offerings for the USP models in mags is pretty limited as well. If you're wanting to stay on a budget, then the 10rd H&K mags may be your best option, until you decide to bump up to the hi-caps? Call Bugs-n-Bullets & ask them for some options: (406) 782-6251. They sell H&K brand mags about $10 cheaper than anyone else I've found. CDNN lists USP mags, but everytime I've called, they've been "currently sold out". Given what you want to do, I would choose the 10rd H&K mag over the Pro Mag, based on my personal experience. Good luck!

great contribution jason. any particular issues with these mags? or are you just biased against promag? post some pics or specific problems, please. i have heard how crappy they are yet have not seen anyone post pics of specific failures. not everyone wants to spend more money on mags than the gun itself. for those of us use our guns and not just play with them in front of the safe it is nice to have quite a few mags around. |
