I am considering trading for a USPc from a friend but the gun is a DAO. What does it take to convert it to a DA/SA? Is it just the operating lever or does the hammer or something else have to be replaced as well? I have switched out a LH lever on a USP before so I'm familiar with that process. I just don't know if it is worth it to buy and then convert.

DAO to DA/SA will require a new hammer and detent plate. Also a control lever if yours is the DAO without manual safety.

Next question is where to get the parts? Are they the same for a USP and USPc? CDNN has LEM kits, I guess I could use that.

Do you want to go to LEM or DA/SA?
Hkpartsonline.com has the parts, http://www.streetpro.com/usp/index.html has the detail stripping instructions, but that's not the same a fitting new parts.
H&K service is greatly improved over the past year, why not let them do it or find the varient you want on gunbroker.com and avoid the expense and hassle of a conversion.
