I was wondering how much I should be paying for a brand new HK USP45. I just bought one and I wanna know if I got ripped off. I saw Academy recently started carrying them. They only had a .45 in the desert color (taupe), so I jumped on it. Generally, no one has prices even close to Academy's. I don't know if they're going to go lower or higher on the prices for these guns. I also know that they're probably on their trial period to see if these guns will sell or not. I paid in the $830's for it. The .40 and 9mm were in the $760's I believe. My 45 has one of those red bar front sights. It's not tritium, it needs light to show. Well, opinions? Anything you can tell me? Thanks in advance. |

Standard. I stripped it last night and just got done putting it together this morning. LOL. Yeah, it took hours and hours to put together. HEY, IT'S MY FIRST TIME! You really have to go in a certain order or you're S.O.L. LOL. Fun experience though. Probably five hours to finally put it back together. It's just a routine of mine to totally break down guns when I first get them to give them a thorough cleaning. Field stripping for me isn't enough. It sure was a lot harder to put together than my p226. I WAS DISAPPOINTED ABOUT ONE THING. Mine came with some type of sandpaper grips. Apparently it's not invincible to CLP. I had CLP drip down on the grip and it started to come off. Geeze. For this much money............ Anyway, I ripped the whole thing off. It was bugging me anyway; kinda looked cheap. I'll probably get some Hogues for it. |

You got that special edition USPf. The decal grip panels do not look to be the best idea, Hogue Handall is good iea fof the USPf. Price wise it was decent to say the least. Prices range far and wide. There was one here locally that went for 750, and in the not to distant past they had NIC grey framed one for less then 600 bucks! I say you go out and shoot it! Report back! |
