I was under the impression H&K is going to stop production on this pistol? is that correct? if so, when are they going to stop making them? I want one SO bad, but my funds dont allow me to purchase one at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't heard that before.

Should be around for quite some time, its a VERY popular pistol.

The mark 23 is supposed to be discontinued.  I haven't heard that about the tac either.

maybe the mark23 is what i'm thinking about... thanks

I looked at CDNN's catalog, and it had the USP tac listed as "last ones" and the mark23 as "last ones ever." so i'm guessing that my friend is wrong about the tac, then.

Yeah, I haven't heard that one.

I've never really been interested in the Mark 23.  I'd consider getting one of the threading was the same as the USP tac.

As much as I love CDNN sometimes the information they put in their flier is not correct or up to date.  They also said the USC was no longer being made but it was only stopped from being imported.  The Tac is alive and well and while the black ones are a bit hard to find right now there is nothing that I have heard that even remotely suggest the Tac is going to be dropped.  The Expert, Elite, and SOCOM are slated for being dropped but even they are still being made in limited runs, as well as the P7M8 which HK has been saying is discontinued for about a year now.  And yet they are still being turned out albeit in very small quantities.  So, don't fear, the Tac is here to stay, at least until the Dems get back in office, God forbid.  But that is another rant...

The Mark 23 has been discontinued for civilian and LEO sales.  However, they are still imported for the HK Fed Ops program.

Most of the Mark 23s out there have the tan frame.  There are a few black frame ones out there but, if NIB, command a high premium over their tan brothers.
