Is the matech trigger kit the same for 9mm, .40 and .45? Will the same trigger kit drop into all three of these full size pistols? Thanks |

Yes, but make sure you realize that the kits are not a true "drop in." The HK match trigger, if you want the most it has to offer, IMO it should be installed by HK and that way you will be sure to get all it has to give. In every single case that I have heard about where there was a problem with the match trigger it has been after the kit was "dropped in." Most have no problem but those who do have just "dropped it in." I have not heard of any problems ever with a HK installed trigger except for when the owner decided to adjust the OT screw and got it out of whack. Also, early 9mm and .40s cannot have the match trigger put in unless HK does the install. All 45 full size can have the match trigger kit put in but on the full size 9mm and 40 the serial numbers before those listed below MUST be returned to HK for the install: USP9F (below SN: 24-21515) USP40F (below SN: 22-36242 ) Match triggers cannot be put in the Compact or the P2000 pistols. |

No match triggers in the Compact or P2000? Damn it! I was strongly considering a Compact for my CCW pistol. I've got a .45 in a full size and in a Tactical. Just to big to conceal. Especially in the summer. Here is a question: Is there any way to "tune" a trigger in the USP series pistols? I have the match trig in the Tactical, but there is still some takeup slack in the trig before the internals begin to function. I've got a Springfield 1911 and the trigger on that pistol is really great. It's just a regular bone pistol. No upgrades. I'd like to see my USP's triggers perform like the 1911. Any suggestions? Thank you. (I think this is when I'll be suggested to shoot the 1911, right? |

Check with L.E.E.D. Here They just did one for me for just over $100 + install and turned it around in a day and a half. |
