Will USP40f mags fit and feed in a USP9f, if loaded with 9mm? How many rounds will they hold? Do they feed reliably, or would I need to change the follower to a 9mm one? (full-cap mags are perfectly legal where I live, I'm just looking to save some money if I can) |
Yes, the 40s do work in a 9mm. I believe you can get 12 in a ten round 40 magazine. Thougth the last round fits very tight. If you covert the ten round 40 magazines by cutting down the floor plate insert, you can get 12 40SW which adds up to 14 in 9mm. I've used my modded 40SW magazines no problem what's so ever. The 9mm ten's are really difficult to mod to high capacity. I'd keeep them at ten. |
They may work, but load a 9mm round in a .40 mag, and pull upwards on the round. You can slide it through the feed lips without too much effort. Do it right, and get 9mm mags. If you look hard enough, you can find used 15 rounders for 15 bucks
