I purchased a USPC 40 LEM. Can I convert it to a Var1 if I want?

Yes, but it will take HK about $200 to do it. While the DAO (V5,6,7) to LEM cost only about $100 to go from LEM to V1 is more expensive and IMO you would be foolish to have anyone but HK do it.

Thanks, I hope I like the LEM and can just stay with it. I am used to a decocker but I got a deal on this pistol so I was willing to change.
