Yes, I know that 99.9% of my target shooting is SA which does feel pretty good.  But the DA on my USP 40 doesn't feel very smooth/easy.  I got some snap caps and have been dry firing a ton and I think it's helped some.

Any suggestions other than what I'm doing now?

Aw, what's wrong w/ icky?  Do you prefer more manly terms for the DA trigger?  Rough?  Hard?  Nasty?  You like it nasty don't you?

The only real fix for that "icky" DA trigger is a Variant 1 carried cocked and locked.

You could try a reduced power hammer spring (std. is 14#...go as low as 10#)

I used the 12# and it may have lightened up a bit (much of it could be psychological) but BobCole used a 10#er and he seemed to think it worked much better.

Get them at Midway or CDNN  3.99 or so i think.

Is that something that a regular slob could change out?

Thanks for the tip.
