Yeah, instead of feeling like a square block, it just felt like a fatter block with squishy corners. I also don't like the possibility of the slip on grip sliding up and possibly blocking the release lever. I don't believe I've ever heard of this happening in the real world, but I don't want to be the guy that proves it really happens at the worst moment possible. |
My USP .40 is my nightstand pistol. I've got a Hogue slip on grip, and it works out pretty well.  Typically if I'm going to the range, I'm running 300 rounds through it just to make it worth my while. I do feel the difference as I get closer to the end. Not just the wear and tear on my hands, but it does help with the overall comfort in my grip. I like it, but YMMV, though. |
