Hello all, I just picked up another VP9 today and I noticed the left side slide lock has some interesting weld marks.
Just to be clear, I don't care one bit about the looks of it.... I own a few VP9s and I've never seen it before. The gun functions just fine by the way...
Anyone see this before?

Out of my three vp9's , no but I wouldn't worry about it. Use it hard if it fails then replace the slide stop, looks cosmetic IMO

I think it's typical of the BF date code. BE date code was a more cleaner, picture frame looking weld. It has been discussed before in this or another forum.

My new VP9 looks something like that but the marks don't seem to be as deep as yours.
