| I just picked up my first H&K today, a USPc 9mm police trade in with an AB date code. When I took it home, I field stripped it to perform a detailed cleaning. When I removed the recoil spring assembly the washer was loose and the plastic buffer ring fell off the end of the spring. Am I correct that the washer should be attached to the recoil spring assembly? If so, do I need to purchase an entire new assembly or is there a way to reattach the washer? Thanks for the help. |

The assembly uses a "c" shaped snap ring to hold it all together, you can buy a replacement for about $8. |
