It's a MIL STD 1913 Picatinny rail just like the one I have on my HK 45C and that's on all current handguns. |

It's a MIL STD 1913 Picatinny rail just like the one I have on my HK 45C and that's on all current handguns. I thought the rail on some HKs were different and require an adapter for some lights and such, but I could be wrong. Anybody know? |

That being said I still consider the HK45 retarded since I can't mount my TLR-1 on it. |

It's a MIL STD 1913 Picatinny rail just like the one I have on my HK 45C and that's on all current handguns. Because it is basically worthless. It doesn't accept a X300 or any other WML's on the market. Supposedly the new SF X300 mini will fit. Its damn near the same size as the P30 which fits an X300 fine...

There is a modification out there where you can modify the locking plate on the X300 to lock into the HK45C rail.
I havent done it yet. But probably will. Google around and you can find some pics / descriptions of the process. I sure would have been nice if they would have made the frame about an 1/8" longer and added an extra slot, then everything would match up nicely. |
