I spent some time looking around to see if I could find the answer but couldn't. Is is possible to replace the barrel on the USP Compact 40 with a tactical barrel to accept a can? More curious then anything else.

Negative there ghostrider, locking lugs are different between the USP 40 and USPC 40.
Contact Jarvis custom if you want a threaded barrel.

If I understand you correctly, you cannot just drop the threaded barrel in. However, if I was to get a barrel from them as a threaded 40 cal barrel for the compact that it would work?

Yeah, contact Jarvis. They can hook you up with a drop in threaded barrel.

Correct. The USP and the Compact do not share barrels. If you can get Jarvis to make you a USPC .40 barrel, extended and threaded, you are good to go, but you cannot take a USP Tactical .40 barrel and drop it in there.
