Hi, I just recently acquired a new to me Colt Night Defender a couple of weeks ago and I would like to pick up a few spare mags for it. Midwayusa.com has the Wilson Combat officer 7rd stainless mags with base pad on sale and wanted to know if anyone had any experience, comments or reviews on this mag.

My other question is that the current factory mag sits flush with the bottom of the magwell and the Wilson Combat mags looks like it will hang down a bit due to the base pad and I just wanted to double check to see if the Wilson mags will work on my defender.

Thanks!

I use the 7rd Wilson 47OXCB http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=459154 , and then the 8rd Wilson 47DOXB http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=966655 for my reload.

We use the same size frame. I like them. Without that slight extension, I tend to get pinched on reload.

Here you can get the factory mags. I would skip the after market ones.
