| Has anyone shot or handled the colt combat elite with the blue slide and stainless frame? It looks nice and am looking into one but am wondering on how they shoot. (I'm wondering on the new ones with the novak sights and stuff.) |
| Yes I have one. Its pretty accurate. Understand i love colt but make sure to look it over first. I had some problems with the first one i ordered, The second one was fine but the thumb saftey wasnt quite right. I pulled it off and replaced it only to find out they had a recall on them. Id never be afraid to buy a colt just look it over good. The machine work isnt bad, It doesnt fit as well as some of my others, but it shoots nice. I think two tones are the finest looking pistols, and colts the orignal. Go get it. |
| I've got two O model XSE, Combat Elites. Both have a lot of Custom work done to them. One's my daily carry and the other is for competion. I left the barrels alone, both of them outshoot me. I can ping metal plates all day long with mine from 25 yards. Everybit the quality as the old Mark IV Combat Elite I have. |
