Colt Custom Python One of my best here folks. Custom: Grips, that i found at a gun show, not sure the maker. Millet Orange Ramp Front Sights. Action is down in the ounces, like an icecycle breaking. This "shooter has hardly any cylinder wear. I might shoot it once or twice a year with FMJ light handloads. And for all you Collectors, I safely stored the original front sights and factory grips away. this baby deserves a Presentation Box. Maybe one day I'll win the LOTTO and get one.

This is my first Colt 1911. It was time I added one. I started with a Kimber CDP Compact Series I Next I added a S/A Loaded Operator with a full length rail and now this is my third entry. Not bad for the addiction starting about 2 years ago. I just got the Colt Gunsite Series 70 CCO a couple days ago. I want to get the trigger redone, I was not very impressed with it at all. It has too much creep and just is not smooth and crisp. I was surprised about that. The finish and all was very nice (despite what some have said abou the Gunsite)  |

Well you can see my first Colt right above this. After holding the Colt and playing with her so much I lost all interest in my Kimber CDP Pre Series II Compact. The Colt made me realize what a great platform they are to build off of and as nice as the Kimber is and all it just was not what I wanted from a carry piece. I decided to contact the AR team member I bought the Kimber off of to see if he had any interest in getting it back and boy did he! We did a trade, his series 70 LW Commander + a little extra for my Kimber CDP Compact. Both of us could not be happier! This is going to be a total custom build shortly!

I take crappy photos, but a few: 1. Colt Single Action Army, dated sometime in 1874. It's been through a house fire and been refinished twice since then, so give it a break. 2. Colt Detective Special, obtained by someone in my family from a Secret Service agent with the bunch that guarded the President's family. Note: People with electropencils should never be allowed in the same zip code as a firearm.  3. Just picked this one up yesterday. There are some other Colt's, but I don't have photos right now and I'm too lazy to make some.
