Early trooper in 38 special, mint  4 inch barrel  It apears to have black plastic handles(with large COLT letters on them)
They look like the older  1908-40 colt   grips.     I know the grips are not right(but the rest of the gun is pristeen).

This gun has been stored for 16 years ,what would a rather ruff ball park fiqure  be  (price wise)?

Bob,

Pictures will help in determining a value. Also, do you have the box and papers? I have been looking for one like this so I am kind of up on what people are asking.

Value always depends on actual condition.
Also, the original grips, box and papers add to the price as does a gun with the Target hammer.

As a ball park value, and remembering that Colt prices have skyrocketed recently, I'd say "Around" $400.
