I have seen one that a dealer at the fun show has been trying to sell for a long time. At $1400 for a less than prime speciman, he will be holding it for a long time to come. From what I understand they were a special run of Officer Series 80 with night sights (low profile ones) and I believe a polished slide. Not sure if they were a Lew Horton special or what. If you are looking for a shooter, you probably would be better off getting an 'enhanced' officer and sending it to Novak's for new sights. Would be better and cheaper. Also be aware that any original Night Officer's sights would be going dim by now. |
