I want to get a new set of grips for my 6" Blued python. The ones i currently have are checkered light walnut? that frankly hurt. I'm thinking of something along the line of hogues uncheckered in either rosewood or tulip wood. Does anyone have any experience with these grips and even better have a picture of a blued python you'd care to share (all i can find on hogues website are SS guns). I'd like some input before i spend 80$. |
| The factory grips are a pain in the--hand as you say. I had a 6 in Nickle Python and the grips along with the nickle turning white after touching it and letting it sit awhile were good enough reasons for me getting rid of mine. I never could figure how nice a revolver could have those pain in the ass grips on them. I'll see if I can hunt down some pics for you of the Snake in Blue with the Hogues. Either way, the Houges on my Smiths are way better than the factory "slabs". |
