Need to see a picture, other than that how is the lock up when you squeeze the trigger and release the hammer done slowly ? Does the cylinder line up even on each chamber ? What's the gap between the cylinder and barrel ? Last does it have its original box and  instructions ?

I wouldn't pay more than a grand for it either, but I think the sensible (non Gunbroker) market is about $1,200.

In my area, Pythons go for $800 to $1600 depending on condition and box or not. Personally, I have owned three Pythons all in excellent condition. I never paid more than $850. Heck, I had a hard time selling my shooter 4" for $800 two years ago.

What area is this???  I have been interested in a Python ever since I shit my dads S&W target model..  Never shot a revolver before, and I loved it!!!  I've taken a look on GB to guage pricing, but they are all really unreasonable for me.  What's a Blue 4" w/o box in good cond go for in your area?  I'd drop  $850 in a heartbeat for one...

Thanks.
