Are you talking about guns that are roll-marked "Ace?" Those guns are in the realm of semi-collectible now, and they are priced accordingly.

I have an Ace Kit. and love it.
Shoot to point of aim.
Likes most ammo I have shot through it.
Runs till it is to durty to work!
Yes! I too would buy the Ace Gun if I had the money!
But If you want a "COLT" handleing firearm, the kit works.

The Colt Ace guns have a chamber to simulate the recoil of the older brother. When the chamber gets dirty, things start to get funky.

Yes it does.
I also found this:Page 18,  20, 22 as well as 40, 41, 42, 43
I know it is not a Colt.  But it is a 1911 style pistol that shoots 22's.
And the price is not bad eather.
I love mine and would not sell it!
