I threw this in the revolver section and have had no hits so here it is.
Okay, I have a king Cobra and was wanting to know how to go about making the trigger pull lighter. Is it possible to change out the springs to do so and if so where could I get a hold of some? If it's possible to do the springs, will they cause any light hits? I'm going to a firearms instructor class and I would love for it to be a little easier on the pull. Need to put a few hundred rounds through it on top of 500 or so through a semi.

A spring kit may or may not give you ignition problems.  Depends on the gun.
All you can do it try one.  If it comes with several mainsprings, you can switch them out until you get one that's reliable.

While the gun is open for spring installation, give it a good cleaning and lubing and put a dab of grease on the hammer and trigger interfaces.  This will also lighten the action.
