I picked up a used Defender it only came with one factory mag. I want more maks for it. Should I go with factory, Wilson, MecGar or??

There is alot of hype about magazines...Some say Wilson is the only way to go...I always hear the factory mags are junk...Colt I believe uses metalform and I imagine most the others do as well. I don't know how our GI's made it through WWl, WWll, Korea, Viet Nam and several other skirmishes with old factory GI type mags in their 1911 pistols...by the way, I have never had a failure with a factory mag in any of my 1911's...go figure

| Don't forget tripp cobras. I like the little length they add to the end. They give your pinky a little more help in keeping it under control. TRIPP |
