Is Magnum Research the cheapest place to get their Fast Action magazines right now? http://www.magnumresearch.com/Expand.asp?ProductCode=MAGFA915 I want some 15 round mags for my P99, and most places are $45 or more. CDNN hasn't had $39 P99 mags in stock for over a year now. Any place else to get Factory or Mec-Gar, who makes Magnum Research's, from? Thanks! According to a post on the Walther Forums, the MR magazines are made by Mec-Gar. |

Magnum Research is $31.99 a mag + $7.99 shipping to NH. ($14.99 shipping for 5 mags, and $18.99 for 10) Depending on how many you're ordering, and what else you're ordering from CDNN, Magnum Research might be a better deal. CDNN does flat-rate shipping. On the weekends, they run a $5.99 shipping special.......but every now and then, they run a $4.99 weekend shipping special. This weekend happens to be one of those $4.99 weekends. |

Has anyone personally tried these? I'd be willing to order id reviews are good. And as long as they are not Pro-Mag brand. I have two of the Magnum Research and had good luck with them. I have not had the chance to put an extreme number of rounds through them, but at least a couple reloads through each. I believe the bodies are identical except for stamping, however they do have Magnum Research floorplates. I have also gotten to use my modified Beretta 92 magazines with no issues. James |

I just received three of these from numrich. (The ones linked in Echo_5's post, above).
The floorplates are extrremely thick and feel like cheap plastic. No markings anywhere on the floorplates or mag bodies. Lightly coated in semi-sticky cosmoline -like substance (similar to what comes on SIG magazines). Mag catch cuts are raw and different on each magazine. Floor plates do not seat all the way to the back or front of the magazine body; each magazine has a different sized gap. Largest is just under 1/4" and you can see into the mag body and the mag spring through the backs of all magazines. One failed to lock back the slide on hand cycling. One looks used and returned. No witness holes. Some weld grinds apaprent on backs. I will be returning all of these. |

MAG915 is a Baby Eagle/Jericho SKU The SKU for the "Fast Action" would be MAGFA915 |
