Folks who have the P99 AS  or P99c AS variant, do you carry in double action mode or  single action anti-stress mode? Considering purchasing a P99c, I have been looking through the threads but have not seen to much on this.

Thanks for the replies. Am I wrong in thinking the anti-stress mode is for carry? I was under the impression  this was its purpose.

depends on how fast you want one...

If you're not in a hurry, I have seen them sell on GB for $400-500 every so often..
If you want one asap, expect to have to pay $600+ for one....

I carry decocked...."double action mode" I guess, but never called it that.  There aren't really "modes".....There's cocked and decocked.

I would never carry the gun any other way....period.  Unless you decock a P99.....it's HOT, with NO safety.  There is little to no resistance to the trigger when the striker is cocked, just a long take-up through the double action area.

I have a P99AS and an older P-99 (not labeled DA/SA)....they are the same.  The "anti-stress" refers to the heavy double action pull of the trigger.....This is the ONLY safety on the gun, and why I like it.

Decock the gun, your life may thank you.
